As reported in the Blog general category bluefin has been reopened this week from Monday 11/12 - Friday 11/16.  Although a good number of boats have called it a year there is still a good number of people chasing tuna while the season is open.  Below is the intel from day 1 of the reopen as the fleet tries to key back in on these fish after the weather we have had for the past few weeks.

Stellwagen

There is plenty of Mackeral still on teh bank as well as the inshore ledges of both the North and South shore.  

Word is that there a number of rec sized tuna on top of the bank if your looking for sport there was a bunch around the southwest corner yesterday.   

Both the Southwest and Southeast corners gave up giants yesterday on livies.

 

Chatham

Majority of large fish yesterday were taken from the sword were at least two 100" fish taken in the 500 lb range.

Little life on Crab Ledge out to the BC buoy and the lanes had a few boats covering alot of miles and ended up at the sword.

Bass are still being caught by those targeting them there are keepers sized fish being picked up on live bait inside Boston Harbor and those fish are on the move south as Cohasett/Scituate area reported some legal sized activity this week.  Mackeral are the name of the game.  

Tog fishing is in full swing in buzzards bay for those able to get out.  Boats have been fishing the holes to get out of the weather woods hole has been producing.
